Palmer Johnson Hosts ZF Product Training For United Rentals
On July 16, Palmer Johnson Power Systems’ Addison, IL location hosted United Rentals 
mechanics for a product training class on ZF Off-Highway axles and transmissions. Kashif Rizvi and Kim Martin from ZF supplied the training materials, including product identification, cross reference data for manufacturer/product, and theory/operation/maintenance of the ZF product. In addition, Palmer Johnson provided pressure testing and some basic “hands on” application on a Skytrack 6036.
All participants received a copy of the presentation material on CD-ROM to take back to their shops for reference and to share with their fellow mechanics. This is the 1st of what Palmer Johnson hopes to be many training opportunities that it can provide to United Rentals and other customers to assist in maximizing uptime and supporting service and parts/product sales.
