Centaflex A Overview
The CENTAFLEX-A presents itself as a versatile superstar when it comes to coping with sophisticated misalignment compensation, fail-safe decoupling of torsional vibrations and reliable electric insulation. Complete with maximum design flexibility.
Centaflex DS Overview
Extremely low torsional stiffness at low speeds (idling), therefore the resonance falls far below idling speed and torsional vibrations and gear noise is avoided, and a very low idling speed becomes possible
The stiffer, robust, well-proven jaw coupling transmits the torque at higher speeds
Simple, compact, reliable and economical design - no bonded rubber, no rubber in shear, only rubber in compression i.e. ideal working conditions. The rubber is heat resistant and the coupling has internal ventilation for good heat dissipation
Centaflex R Specifications
The CENTAFLEX-R is a simple robust ROLLER coupling with a progressive
torsional characterisation. Ideal for boat drives, providing a very low stiffness at low torque (& speed) which shifts the torsional resonance below idle speed and prevents gearhammer (gear chatter).
Centaflex RV Overview
Highly flexible intermediate coupling with progressive characteristic. For drive concepts with many drive shaft variants.
Combination of highly flexible roller coupling and built-in bearing support. Characterised by slight stiffness at lower speeds and moderately increased stiffness at rising torques. Dampens torsional vibrations and noise. Ensures smooth operation and long lifespan of the coupled units. HD design includes oil-resistance and even higher temperature resistance.
Minimum mounting and maintenance effort. With flywheel connections acc. to SAE. Also available for non-standard flywheels. CENTA FH flange bearing is recommended for larger deflection angles of connected cardan shafts.
