Johnson Cutless® Split Naval Brass Flanged Bearings (Split Strut or Aft Stern Tube)
Johnson Cutless® Split Naval Brass Flanged Bearings are designed for split strut or aft stern tube applications where easier installation, secure retention, and reliable water-lubricated performance are essential. Centrifugally cast from naval brass with an integral flange, these bearings are built to bolt into the housing to help retain the bearing and prevent rotation. A specially formulated oil- and chemical-resistant nitrile rubber is securely bonded to the shell, while the split design helps simplify installation and changeout in demanding marine environments. Heavy-walled shells add structural strength, and flanges are furnished undrilled unless otherwise specified.
