The Twin Disc RM150 series is a gearbox product with speed reduction and speed increasing ratios comprising of the RM150S & RM150D models.
The “S” & “D” in the model number refers to the rotation of the output shaft.
- S = rotation is the same as the engine
- D = rotation is anti-engine
The Twin Disc RM series gearboxes are compact, yet heavy duty gearboxes built for industrial application to mount with industrial diesel engines or electric motors. The Twin Disc RM gearboxes are a very economical option for an array of industrial off-highway applications including water pumps, slurry pumps, fans, blowers, cement mixers, and more.
One of the best features of these gearboxes are their modular design built to be flexible and configurable for the widest range of industrial applications. Each series has the option for the output shaft to turn engine or ant-engine direct. There are an array of engine connection options including drive plate/coupling mounted, and clutch mounted to an industrial SAE engine.
RM150 - The RM150 series is offered in ratios ranging from 0.57:1 increasing to a 3.04:1 reduction ratio and is rated for up to 1,111 lb-ft of input torque.
