110,000 New Wells In Permian Basin
CBS 7 announces that new developments are coming from oil and gas companies, Pioneer, Oxy, and Diamondback—three of the largest oil and gas companies in the area. They have announced that over 110,000 new wells are being drilled locally, bringing new jobs, area development, and resources to the Basin.
The executives at these local organizations discuss ways that these new oil wells can serve the local population, including obvious benefits like creating new jobs for the area. However, there are unexpected bonuses to the expansion, like pumping more resources into the surrounding school systems, healthcare, and bolstering the local economy.
