Every employee is provided 8 hours of PTO to volunteer and support a cause that matters to them.
Employee Supported Activies
Palmer Johnson is committed to supporting our employees and their involvement in causes that care about. In 2022 our VP of Service Andy Stehl embarked on a hike across Colorado climbing 16 peaks over 14,000 feet each for MANNA Worldwide
By collecting non-perishable food items and distributing them to local food banks, we're able to help ensure that everyone has access to the nutritious food they need to lead healthy lives. Our service centers are always looking for new ways to get involved in their communities, and we're proud to say that our food drive program is making a difference.
American Red Cross
One donation can help save up to three lives! As an American Red Cross Community Blood Program Sponsor we are helping to meet the needs of our community and communities across the nation. By hosting regular blood drives we are helping the Red Cross to provide more than 40% of America’s blood supply. These blood donations can make a lifesaving impact on accident victims, cancer patients, surgical candidates, children with blood disorders and many others.
Boys & Girls Club of Dane County
The Boys & Girls Club of Dane County is a local non-profit that has the mission the be the leader in youth development through partnering with organizations. To commemorate Palmer Johnson’s 40-year anniversary we made a goal to raise $40,000 for the Boys & Girls Club of Dane County. Palmer Johnson exceeded this goal by raising $44,000 to support the kids of the Boys & Girls Club of Dane County while providing them with a place to learn and grow.
American Heart Association
The American Heart Association is the largest voluntary health organization dedicated to defeating heart disease, stroke and other cardiovascular diseases. Their mission is to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke — the nation’s No.1 and No.5 killers. Designed to promote physical activity and heart-healthy living, the Heart Walk creates an environment that's fun and rewarding for the entire family.
Habitat for Humanity
Habitat for Humanity International is a nonprofit organization, dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty housing. For 28 years, Habitat for Humanity has built and sold homes to 238 working, low-income individuals/families. Habitat also assists other city and county agencies to provide low-income housing and remodeling assistance.
