HD Hyundai Infracore has recently introduced the DX05 and DX08 engines, marking a significant advancement in environmentally friendly engine technology. Unveiled at INTERMAT 2024 in Paris, these 5-liter and 7.5-liter engines are designed to meet stringent emission standards, including the EU's Stage V and the U.S.'s Tier-4 Final. Notably, they are compatible with diesel and hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO), a next-generation biofuel, underscoring Hyundai's commitment to sustainable energy solutions.

In addition to the DX05 and DX08, HD Hyundai Infracore is actively developing hydrogen engines, such as the 11-liter HX12, which produce zero carbon dioxide emissions. These engines are particularly suitable for large construction equipment and off-road vehicles requiring high power output and extended operation periods. The company plans to commence pilot operations of hydrogen engines for power generation in the latter half of this year, with future expansions to include engines of 22 liters and above.
