Service has a simple creed to "Make It Happen" daily regardless of the situation by taking care of our people and customers. For the past two years we have presented the Service Center of the Year award for upholding our creed and service influence for the year. We track safety, quality, delivery, cost, 5S and consider sales & margin growth to present the coveted award to the well deserving shop.
The decision for the 2018 Service Center of the Year was not an easy one. PJ Service broke record after record while overcoming endless obstacles and making tough decisions to better PJ for the future.
I am honored to announce that the 2018 Service Center of the Year was presented to Sun Prairie on February 5th, 2019. Sun Prairie continues to “Make It Happen” day in and day out. They took on overflow Oil & Gas jobs to support the growing demand with the machine shop stepping up on big projects and the warehouse dedicated to push out parts for all of service. Outside of the Oil & Gas demand, Sun Prairie capitalized on core and equipment jobs to support our customers in 2018. They have done this while on boarding new techs and supporting a management change. Sun Prairie also started PJ down the path of full equipment refurb adding value to the local construction market and giving PJ a good glimpse of what we can accomplish across our company. With the new tech additions and growth, safety stayed the uppermost focus. The expanding equipment repair and refurb opportunities revealed a safety concern with space and lead us to the decision for opening up a full equipment shop across the street in Sun Prairie. I am proud to a part of PJ Service and amazed by our accomplishments!
