Living Our Core Value: We Give Back This Holiday Season

The holidays are a special time for our team to live out one of our core values: We Give Back. It’s more than a phrase on a wall for us; it’s a commitment to showing up for our communities, our coworkers, and the causes that matter most to them.
Every PJ employee receives paid volunteer time each year, empowering our team to support the organizations that are closest to their hearts. That spirit of service comes to life in big and small ways throughout the year, and it’s especially visible during the holiday season.
Giving Back Close to Home
This 2025 holiday season, our teams are:
- Filling local food pantries with non-perishable items to help ensure more families have access to nutritious meals.
- Spending time volunteering with community organizations, lending a hand where it’s needed most.
- Rallying together to support the American Cancer Society, honoring friends, family.
These efforts reflect what makes our team special: when someone needs support, people step up - quietly, consistently, and without looking for recognition.
Partnering With Organizations Making a Difference
Our holiday giving doesn’t happen in isolation. It’s part of a larger commitment to community impact that runs throughout the year.
Across PJPS, our teams support a range of organizations, including:
- MANNA Worldwide – From food drives to fundraising efforts, we help support MANNA’s work feeding vulnerable communities and fighting hunger.
- American Red Cross – As a Community Blood Program Sponsor, PJ hosts regular blood drives that help provide life-saving blood products to patients across the country.
- Boys & Girls Club of Dane County – To celebrate 40 years of PJ, our team set—and exceeded—a goal to raise $40,000, helping provide safe, empowering spaces for local youth.
- American Heart Association – Through events like the Heart Walk, our teams promote heart health and raise funds to fight cardiovascular disease.
- Habitat for Humanity – PJ volunteers have rolled up their sleeves on Habitat build sites, helping create stable housing for families in need.
- Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) – Earlier this year, our team completed a 60-hour employee relay, raising over $8,000 to support blood cancer research and patient support programs.
These partnerships reflect our belief that businesses have a responsibility to strengthen the communities where we live and work.
More Than a Season
The holidays shine a spotlight on generosity, but for PJPS, giving back isn’t limited to one time of year.
From employee-driven fundraisers and volunteer events to company-sponsored initiatives and paid volunteer time, our team finds ways to give back in every season. That might look like joining a local food drive, spending a few hours at a blood drive, fundraising for a cause that’s personal, or simply showing up for a coworker who’s going through a tough time. We’re grateful for a team that shows up for others, not just during the holidays, but all year long.
From all of us at Palmer Johnson Power Systems: Happy Holidays, and thank you for helping us make a difference.
